A big list of kid snacks to buy on Amazon for less than you would pay at the grocery store.
It is no secret, I love Amazon. It just takes convenience to a whole new amazing level. You can literally find anything that you could possibly want on Amazon and have it to your door in 2 days.
My obsession with Amazon started six years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. As my belly grew, my lack of motivation to haul big packages of paper towels and toilet paper through the supermarket aisles increased. And I discovered the joy that Amazon could bring by having a little Amazon Fairy drop off my household products right to my door.
So as we enter the back to school season, I am of course thinking about snacks for kids. I started doing some research to see what I should buy locally and what Amazon could provide at an even better price than a local retail shop.

Kid Snacks To Buy On Amazon
This is a list of snacks or light meals that are traditionally enjoyed by children. Some are healthier than others of course but these are things that are probably on your shopping list at some point.
The prices were compared to my local large chain grocery superstore. Of course prices may vary depending on where you live. Sometimes the same product count is not available so I did the math per item or ounce if applicable.
The annual savings assumes that you buy the item once a week on your grocery run. These kid snacks to buy on Amazon will save you quite a bit of money annually if you take advantage of this simple buying process.
Amazon’s Subscribe & Save – What is it?
Many of these deals require you to utilize Amazon’s subscribe and save program. You will need Prime in order to participate.
If you “Subscribe & Save” to an item, you will always receive a discount. The discount starts at 5% on regular grocery items and goes up to 15% if you order five items in the same month. The discount will automatically update to 15% when you add the 5th item to your subscribe & Save cart.
How to Subscribe & Save
Not all products are eligible but if they are, you will an option to buy the item at a lower price if you subscribe and save. Simple select the radio button for subscribe & save and then confirm the selection.
You can access all of your subscribe and save items by going to your account and then selecting Subscribe & Save.
Easy Cancellation
You can go on your account at any time and cancel your subscription, skip a month or change the frequency that you receive the subscription.
You do need to cancel or skip prior to the product being packed for shipment. However, I have had success cancelling very last minute (because Amazon is awesome) but I would recommend not waiting until the last minute like me because you might get product you don’t need.

Many of these items got loaded into my Amazon cart today to prep for all these school lunches that I am about to be packing. If you are in a peanut free classroom or just need some ideas outside of the PB&J box, check out these peanut free lunch ideas.
