A healthy Halloween granola bar mummy that is the perfect treat for kids.
Every year that passes makes me love Halloween just a bit more. There is something about a holiday that is all about candy that just makes me happy. And my kids too.
There just isn’t any pressure with Halloween. No perfect gifts to find and wrap. No big meal to work on for days.
Just simple fun. Candy, costumes, Trick or Treating and a big pot of chili is all the trouble that you have to go to in order to have a successful Halloween!
These healthy Halloween granola bar mummy treats stick to the simple principles I love while still offering a fun holiday treat for the kids.

Even though I love love love Halloween, I do worry about all the junk my kids eat during this time of year. I always operate on the everything in moderation rule. But at this time of year, the junk food seems to prevail more often than the celery sticks do.
So I like to find some kind of middle ground that is still a fun treat but a bit better than a bowl of gummy worms.
My kids love the Clif Z bars and it gave me an idea. A Halloween granola bar mummy is the perfect fun treat and a little healthier than a bunch of candy.
