There is an on plan option that you can pick up right at your regular grocery store!

THM On Plan Jelly
The THM on plan Jelly that you can use on plan is called Polaner’s.
Here is a link to the product and what it looks like. I really like this product!
Some people have been reporting that the Polaner’s is difficult to find at their nearby Walmart. I have had luck finding it at Kroger stores but if you can’t find it, there is one more store bought option. Smucker’s Simply Fruit is similar to Polaner’s and on plan according to a THM Admin.
Another THM on plan jelly option is in the THM cookbook and called Slim Belly Jelly. If you read the 5 THM things I don’t do, you know making condiments from scratch is not my Jam (see what I did there?! Ha).
So I will stick with Smuckers or Polaner’s but if you want to make your own, go for it!
Wait The Nutrition Label Shows Sugar
Polaner’s and Smucker’s Simply Fruit are THM on plan jelly options sweetened only with fruit juice. So since fruit and fruit juice do have natural occurring sugar, that is why you will find it on the label.
What you don’t want is the sugar free variety. That item has off plan sweeteners.
Polaner’s All Fruit or Smucker’s Simply Fruit Serving Size
In an E setting, you can have 1 tablespoon of jelly.
In an FP or S setting, you can have 1 teaspoon of jelly.
If you decide to make the Slim Belly Jelly from the cookbook, it is a FP so you can have it in either setting.
How To Eat THM On Plan Jelly
I am sure there are plenty of ways to eat your THM on plan jelly, but here are a few that I enjoy:
Powdered Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich on Sprouted Bread
Sprouted Toast with Jelly
Lowfat Greek Yogurt (Plain) with a Teaspoon of Jelly and berries
Wasa Cracker, Light Laughing Cow Cheese and a TSP of Jelly
Vanilla Halo Top with Jelly topping
Low Carb Tortilla with No Sugar Peanut Butter and TSP of Jelly (Rolled up and cut into pinwheels)
